FROM HOUSTON:

Take I-10 East to Beaumont, TX

Take Exit 854 Martin Luther King (MLK) / Spur 380

Turn Right on MLK / Spur 380

Travel approx. 3 Miles to Washington Blvd

Turn right on Washington Blvd

Turn right on Irving St

Turn right on Madison

When road dead ends, turn right on Sycamore

After crossing RR Tracks, make immediate left onto Gulf States Rd

Travel 2 miles and Sabine Ship will be on the left

FROM NEW ORLEANS:

Travel on I-10 West to Beaumont, TX

Take Exit 854 Martin Luther King (MLK) / Spur 380

Turn Left on MLK / Spur 380

Travel approx. 3 Miles to Washington Blvd

Turn right on Washington Blvd

Turn right on Irving St

Turn right on Madison

When road dead ends, turn right on Sycamore

After crossing RR Tracks, make immediate left onto Gulf States Rd

Travel 2 miles and Sabine Ship will be on the left

DIRECTIONS BY WATER:

We are located in off of the Neches River at MM 66 in Hawkins Slip.

From the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway take the Neches River upstream approximately 14 miles to Beaumont. You will pass the following list of landmarks in order from the Intracoastal Waterway.

  • Veteran’s Memorial and Rainbow Bridge
    (State Highway 87)
  • Port Neches Park (Port Side)
  • U.S. Maritime Mothball Fleet (Starboard Side)
  • Stanolind Anchorage (Port Side)
  • Martin Gas (Neches Industrial Park (Port Side)
  • Next Slip, past Martin gas on Port side is the entrance into Hawkins Slip at Mile Marker 66
  • Since the current is fairly strong, especially in the spring, run a bit upstream before turning to port and into Hawkins Slip.
